BSNL Broadband Usage Checking Procedure via online and SMS

BSNL has two types of broadband networks,

1) HUAWEI **

2) UTSTARCOM ** .

To check Broadband usage both the networks follow different styles.

First you should identitify to which network your BSNL Broadband connection belongs.

It is very simple to identify your BSNL broadband network, If you got  only one USER Id for both “connecting to the network” and “checking broadband usage” then your Network is “Huawei” or  if you got two UserIDs ( Portal ID , Service ID) then your network is “UTSTARCOM”. Still have confusion then here is another tip to know your BSNL broadband network.

If your Service ID ( UserID used to connect internet ) contains “two characters followed by phone number eg: “TZ8632248571″ then your connection belongs to UTSTORCOM network . else yours is of HUAWEI network.

Once you identified your BSNL Broadband network then follow the below procedure to check your Broadband usage details.

For Huawei BSNL Broadband Network:

  1. Go to the page ”  www.dataone.in “  * in IE Browser and
  2. click on the link “check your account usage”
  3. enter Username,Password click login
  4. click Service Records
  5. Select Month
  6. Click OK.

Or you can directly access the page at “61.0.0.71″ (Type this IP in your IE Browser address bar)

* This site Best works with Internet Explorer Browser only, though some pages may open with other Browsers also.

For UTSTARCOM BSNL Broadband Network:

  1. Go to the page ” www.data.bsnl.in
  2. Enter Portal ID and password click login
  3. click ‘my services’
  4. Select ‘Service Name ‘ as Broadband
  5. Select Account No
  6. Select usage Month and click ‘Search’

More convinient and easiest way to check your BSNL Broadband Usage is via SMS

Here is the procedure to register and  check your BSNL Broadband Usage via SMS

– Register to check your BSNL Broadband Usage is via SMS

Just send SMS as  “REG Landline Number” prefixed with your STD code (For Example REG 08632248571) to the following numbers:

52295: For Bsnl Mobile Customers.

9448077777: For Any Other Mobile Customers other than BSNL.

– Check the Broadband Usage of your Account via SMS

After Registering your landline number, you will receive a Thank you message and from then onwards, you can check the broadband usage of your account anytime by just sending an SMS.

Just send SMS “BBU Landline Number” prefixed with the STD Code (For Example  BBU 08632248571) to the following numbers:

52295: For Bsnl Mobile Customers.

9448077777: For Any Other Mobile Customers other than BSNL.

Note: This service is completely free, and you will be charged only for the SMS, based on your operator sms charges.
