Here is very simple tip to convert your blog Category list to Tags and Tags to Categories.

This may be more useful for those who import posts from Blogger to WordPress where all posts in Blogger is labeled unlike two groups in WordPress as Category and Tags.

First login to your WordPress blog,and paste the url given below in the address bar( type your blog url instead of “yourwebsite”)

http://yourwebsite/wp-admin/admin.php?import=wp-cat2tag

then your “Convert Categories to Tags Page” opens.Here list of all categories shown ,now check the categories which you want to convert into Tags then hit button “convert categories to tags”.By this Convertion it will add that tag to all posts that are currently in the category.

In the same way the reverse thing may also done easily.i.e Tags to Categories.

To convert Tags to Categories go to the url given below(type your blog url instead of “yourwebsite”) or you can directly hit the button “tags to categories” placed at top of the previous page.

then your “Convert Tags to Categories Page” opens.Here list of all Tags shown ,now check the Tags which you want to convert into Categories then hit the button “ convert tags to categories “.By this action all posts associated with the selected tags will also be in the category
